Many of our alumni make their way to medical school, including a husband and wife team of Rice Kinesiology-Health Sciences alum.

Currently, Dr. Felicia Seaton Griggs, MD, a 2007 graduate from our Health Sciences Program at Rice, is a staff Anesthesiologist with Greater Houston Anesthesiology / US Anesthesia Partners. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2011, where she also studied Medical Spanish. Upon completion of her residency at the same institution in 2015, she won an award for Obstetric Anesthesia Resident of the year. You can now find her practicing both general and obstetric anesthesia at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.

Felicia’s husband, Dr. Moreko “Reko” Griggs, MD is also a 2008 graduate from our Health Sciences Program at Rice University. He is currently a musculoskeletal / emergency radiology fellow affiliated with Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, and recently completed his Residency. He also received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Reko and Felicia stay busy with their four and a half year old, and they are expecting twins in December.

Our offices are located on the 2nd floor of Tudor Fieldhouse on the east side of the building. The easiest way to access our suite is to enter through the east side door that faces the intramural fields and Wiess College. You will then go up the stairway to the 2nd floor, and our suite will be through the open door ahead on the right.
