Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology Major

The goal of the sports medicine and exercise physiology major is to provide a strong foundation in basic science and interface this with the study of the human body and application to human movement, performance, and exercise. This major provides a foundation for continued studies in graduate school, allied health, physical therapy, or medicine. Graduates are also prepared to pursue exercise or wellness careers in fitness or sport settings.

Graduates of the Sports Medicine program receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Medicine & Exercise Physiology. This is a STEM-designated major.

Our offices are located on the 2nd floor of Tudor Fieldhouse on the east side of the building. The easiest way to access our suite is to enter through the east side door that faces the intramural fields and Wiess College. You will then go up the stairway to the 2nd floor, and our suite will be through the open door ahead on the right.
