
The goal of the Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology major is to provide a strong foundation in basic science and interface this with the study of the human body and application to human movement, performance, and exercise. This major provides a foundation for continued studies in graduate school, allied health, physical therapy, or medicine. Graduates are also prepared to pursue exercise or wellness careers in fitness or sport settings.
Students may choose between one of two degree programs in the Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology major: Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology, or Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology. This is a STEM-designated major.

Our offices are located on the 2nd floor of Tudor Fieldhouse on the east side of the building. The easiest way to access our suite is to enter through the front entrance that faces the Inner Loop. You'll see the court in front of you. Turn left, then turn right, and turn right up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, turn right into the hallway. Our suite will be through the open door ahead on the left.
